after owning the minneapolis electronic scene quite hard, colon pipe krew
decided to bring the best of the midwest to the rest of the world. this ep
dives deep into the past and will leave you tangled in the krew's roots.
"minneapolis" starts with "old gods," featuring the heavy distortion and
mixer madness of k9d manipulating dan theilman's tribal beats. k9d and dan
have been friends forever and this intro track captures the groove that
they have been riding since their school days. peukjunkr follows up with
"nastyshitjank," giving away his unique style of korg perversion. if you
have any ugly tastes left in your mouth after that excursion, chip-hacker
starPause will wash it away with his upbeat, ravetastic "i wish i wasn't
you." then the ep is over, and only then, you too can claim to be owned!
